In the first picture I can see train tracks. And on the silos I see a dangling, rusted chute... was this a car-loading station for some type of grain/feed?
Hi Mike, On this loop I cross the tracks in the first picture once. The line in the second picture I cross twice. They are seperate -Lots of RR around here.
Yes you are correct about the grain chute. The tracks are still active but the silos are long since out of service. Looks like the other chute fell off at some point. My son is heavy into the "crafting" games like Minecraft and Castlecraft. The blocky nature of this structure reminded me of him.
The old ceramic glazed building blocks are neat on the old silos too. Don't see them too often anymore.
